Meet Miriam
Dr. Miriam Wiglesworth believes in living life in the fast lane. If she's not teaching Advanced Accounting classes at Loyola University, coordinating class schedules and adjuncts for Harford Community Colleges' Business Applied Technology Division, then she's teaching classes in several modalities between running her children to softball games and track meets!
Dr. Wiglesworth began her career at Deloitte & Touche, LLP as an Auditor. From there, she joined MBNA America, where she was quickly moved into the management rotation training program which allowed her to gain experience as a recruiter, fraud analyst, and collections manager. From there, she did a stint as a public high school teacher before moving into Higher Education.
Throughout her career in higher education, she has dedicated herself to supporting and spearheading initiatives, strategies, and programming that create a unique and enriching experience for all stakeholders.

Having a child with Down Syndrome, I have a deep-seated desire to help individuals with intellectual disabilities. I sit on the Board of Directors for Upper Bay Counseling and Support Services and I'm a member of the Finance Board for The Arc!
