Two-year online college, Campus, launches Surtain Scholars program providing 40 free tuition, mentorship from industry leaders, and classes taught by top business faculty
(DENVER, CO), July 25, 2025 – NFL star Pat Surtain II today announced a scholarship initiative in partnership with Campus, the modern two-year college built for the next generation of creators, entrepreneurs, and leaders. The Surtain II Scholars program will provide up to 40 students with up to $20,000 in tuition scholarships toward Campus’s associate degrees, live online courses taught by professors from top universities, a personal success coach, laptop, and WiFi.
Surtain is a standout cornerback for the Denver Broncos and, off the field, channels his passion for philanthropy via the Patrick Surtain II Foundation, which has launched programs to expand educational opportunity in underserved Denver communities.
"I’ve had people in my corner since day one—coaches, mentors, folks who pushed me to be better on and off the field," said Surtain. "Now it’s my turn to do the same. This scholarship is about helping young people believe in themselves and go after what’s possible."
The Surtain Scholars program recognizes students whose contributions extend beyond the classroom. It looks for those who engage in random acts of kindness, get involved in school activities, or play on team sports—always aiming to make a positive difference. Surtain seeks applicants who demonstrate discipline, dedication, sportsmanship, and determination, and who inspire and support those around them through active participation in their communities.
