AI Skills
Build practical AI skills with ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude.
Healthcare is changing fast. Graduate ready for what's next.
The Applied AI concentration within the Associate of Science in Healthcare Administration program at Campus is designed to prepare you for a healthcare industry that looks nothing like it did a decade ago. This program pairs the core foundations of healthcare administration with hands-on AI coursework, giving you fluency in both the systems that run healthcare organizations and the tools that are transforming them.
You'll learn to analyze real clinical and administrative documents, build custom AI tools and apply data-driven insights to the kinds of decisions healthcare professionals make every day. Graduates leave with more than a degree, they leave with a portfolio of technical projects that demonstrates their skills to employers from day one. In a field where the demand for AI-fluency continues to grow, this program is designed to help you build skills aligned with the evolving use of AI in healthcare environments.
Learn to solve real-world challenges within the industry
The Applied AI concentration is designed to cultivate a wide range of skills that are essential for success in today's rapidly evolving healthcare landscape. Unlike programs that teach AI in isolation, each course builds on the last, moving from AI literacy to workflow integration and tool development, so you graduate with a cohesive body of work, not a collection of disconnected skills. These include:
- Integrate ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude into real administrative workflows, building familiarity with AI tools that are increasingly being adopted across healthcare organizations.
- Use AI tools to analyze real-world business documents including market research, patient feedback, legal contracts and turn them into insights that drive strategic decisions.
- Apply AI to cut through the complexity of healthcare documentation, from regulatory filings and compliance reports to patient feedback and administrative contracts, surfacing what matters quickly and accurately.
- Build and deploy functional AI-powered applications using AI-assisted development tools and publishing completed projects to a professional GitHub portfolio, a hands-on capability that sets graduates apart in the entry-level job market.
- Design and present AI implementation strategies that account for patient privacy, regulatory requirements and responsible deployment within healthcare organizations.
Healthcare is hiring. AI fluency can help you stand out.
Healthcare is the fastest-growing industry in the country, and AI is moving through it faster than most organizations can keep up with. Nearly 8 in 10 health systems are already running AI projects, but only half feel equipped to actually implement them. That gap isn't a technology problem. It's a talent problem. The promise of AI depends on people who know how to use it. In fact, 46% of leaders identify skill gaps as a significant barrier to AI adoption. This program is designed to help you build that skill set.
