Meet Nick

Dr. Nick Gera joins Campus with a distinguished background spanning government, law, and private equity. He is a practicing attorney and a professor of business, law, and government across multiple colleges and universities worldwide, in addition to serving as a consultant to a variety of businesses and NGOs.

Dr. Gera has trained and advised numerous Fortune 500 companies and has provided leadership, managerial, and legal training to officials within the U.S. Departments of Defense, Energy, and Interior, etc. His consulting clients also extend internationally, including organizations in the United Kingdom, France, Australia, and India.

Before entering academia and law, Dr. Gera worked in Washington, D.C. as a legal fellow, supporting the Office of the Governor of Colorado under John Hickenlooper, working with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and contributing to policy initiatives within former U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge's policy group. He later transitioned into banking and private equity, where he executed over $500 million in financial transactions. His leadership in international trade led to his appointment by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce as Vice Chairman of the District Export Council for Central California.

Dr. Gera holds a doctorate from The University of Texas at Austin; a law degree from the University of Pittsburgh; a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University; an MBA from the University of Florida; and a BA from the University of Washington.
